Click the Sign Up button, select parent, fill the short sign-up form, and you are able to add your child as a student. You then just book a tutor for your child.
Yes. You can add as many children as you would like, and you will be able to book lessons/tutors for each child in different subjects and monitor each of them.
MiTUTOR provides a safe learning environment for your children. We start with the strict vetting of all tutors (including mandatory police clearance) and have the necessary safeguards in place — training for tutors about safeguarding and internal policies to protect children against any form of abuse, with strong consequence management.
Yes. We have many tutors with different schedules and many are available throughout the day, weekday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and even during public and school holidays to ensure round-the-clock availability.
Click Sign Up, select tutor, and complete the short registration form for onboarding. We will vet your application and revert promptly.
Yes. The system is automated and your progress monitored (MiTUTOR academic record). Therefore, whether it is because you have a loaded weekly schedule that cannot be satisfied by one tutor alone, or you simply wish to alternate tutors, MiTUTOR is designed with such flexibility.
Yes. MiTUTOR is essentially an education app that maintains a record of every aspect of your tutoring life on the app and helps you with session reminders, tutor feedback, learning progress, etc.
Yes. If you prefer an in-person interaction, the system will find a tutor in close proximity to you (if available) and recommend.
No. Our system simply recommends tutors that match your requirements, and it is up to you to choose one — who must then also accept your request.
MiTUTOR offers its users (students and parents) a unique ability to track performance — going back in time to analyse how progress was achieved. As an institution, MiTUTOR offers accountability both in terms of actual learning and behaviour-related issues that may affect a child's learning experience.
MiTUTOR takes several steps to ensure that all tutors are well trained — not only academically, but in interpersonal relationships. They will show utmost professionalism. However, should anything happen, MiTUTOR will take all necessary steps to remedy the situation and address ill behaviour.
First of all, you should report him or her to MiTUTOR immediately. Importantly, should you accept their offer, you will lose all the benefits and protections that MiTUTOR offers you — including following up with reported abuse, unprofessional behaviour, record keeping, etc.
Our packages are paid in advance — weekly or monthly depending on the billing cycle you choose, based on the weekly schedule requested and approved. Whether you choose a once-off or monthly package, you will be billed upon confirmation and pay before access to the tutor.
MiTUTOR uses a payment gateway on the platform that you will be redirected to upon acceptance of each invoice, similar to any e-commerce platform.
Yes. MiTUTOR comes with built-in ability to monitor every student's attendance and progress across subjects. You will have a dashboard overview of your portfolio.
Yes. Once you have been matched with a tutor, you will have the ability to chat with the tutor on the platform, and sessions may be rescheduled by mutual agreement. A minimum 2-hour notice period must be given by either party about unavailability and the need to reschedule.
MiTUTOR is a pay-as-you-go platform. Unused paid hours for a week or month's schedule can be refunded, less a cancellation fee representing 50% of the unused balance.
